0xio is the user-facing application layer built for the Octra Network, designed to make encrypted blockchain computation usable, safe, and intuitive. While Octra provides the underlying Layer-1 blockchain and cryptographic infrastructure, 0xio delivers the wallets, SDKs, and applications that allow users and developers to interact with Octra’s fully encrypted execution model without needing to understand or implement cryptography themselves.

What is 0xio?

0xio is a non-custodial Web3 ecosystem built on top of the Octra Network. It provides:
  • Secure client-side applications (wallets, SDKs, interfaces)
  • Abstractions over encrypted execution and fees
  • Tooling for private transfers, private trading, and encrypted application logic
All sensitive data is encrypted locally on the user’s device before ever touching the network. 0xio never has access to user keys, balances, or private transaction data.
Important: 0xio is an independent, community-built project. It is not operated by, nor formally affiliated with, Octra Labs.

Why 0xio?

On most blockchains, privacy is optional and usually external:
  • Balances are public
  • Transactions are globally visible
  • Activity can be trivially tracked and correlated
0xio takes a different approach. By building directly on Octra’s encrypted execution layer, 0xio enables:
  • Private balances by default
  • Encrypted transactions validated without revealing amounts
  • Applications that operate on private state, not public data
The result is a blockchain experience closer to traditional finance privacy, but without custodians, intermediaries, or trusted servers.

1. Privacy by Default

0xio integrates Octra’s Hypergraph Fully Homomorphic Encryption (HFHE) so balances, transfers, and application logic can remain encrypted throughout their lifecycle.

2. Non-Custodial Sovereignty

All keys are generated and stored locally. 0xio cannot freeze, access, or recover user funds.

3. Client-Side Encryption

Sensitive data is encrypted before it is broadcast to the network. Validators process encrypted payloads without learning their contents.

TypeScript SDK on npm. Connects dApps to 0xio wallets and the Octra Network. Private MessageChannel transport, security-hardened postMessage, pluggable wallet adapters, full type definitions. Privacy primitives ship separately as @0xio/pvac (WASM).

Caching proxy that compresses heavy history responses, with a 15-second per-address cache. Rate-limited and API key-protected.
